Calling Brooklyn home, Xenia rocs a pair of synthesizers and a looping machine to create her uniquely stylistic mix of Spanglish punk, soul and electronica. Joined by drummer Marco Bucelli in creating experimental vocal sounds, odd-timed danceable latin rhythms, and disarmingly simple melodies, Xenia’s world of martian tribes and elephant memories is at once both foreign and familiar.
